OUR VISION STATEMENT

Our vision is to see God move powerfully in the lives of those we encounter...to know God and to make Him known.

We plan to accomplish this in three ways:
First, we seek to make Jesus Christ known throughout our community, by responding to every Christian's call to love God and to love our neighbors. We work in the community wherever we see a need to evangelize, catechize, disciple, and serve. In the past, this has looked like spending the night looking after homeless people, mentoring at-risk youth, knitting for the poor, street and internet preaching, leading Bible studies,  and especially through  intercessory prayer.

The Mary Mission is a small, family apostolate in Fayetteville, NC  which remains faithful to the Magesterium of the Roman Catholic Church.

Second, we are committed to the Blessed Mother, who leads us always to her Son and Savior, Jesus. We spread devotion to the Rosary and to the Brown Scapular, and provide information about Marian apparitions, particularly at Lourdes, Fatima, and Knock. Because Mary always points to Jesus, we also spread devotion to the Eucharist, which is our greatest gift from God.

Third, we humbly recognize the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, in particular those gifts of a charismatic nature. We yearn for revival in the Church, and we know we need to BE the change we want to see in the world. Because of that, we use our own spiritual gifts, in the area of deliverance ministry, and we help others to discover theirs and learn how to use theirs.

 PRAYER FOR BATTLE

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Divine Power of God, cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
