Do Ghosts exist?

Although The Church has no official position as to what ghosts really are, one can come to the conclusion through Church teachings that deceased persons go to one of three states at death: Heaven, Hell, or purgatory, where they undergo sanctification by fire as they confront undealt with areas of sin. We know also that other types of spirits roam the earth... both angelic and demonic. Each of these have been documented as capable of appearing to us.

How is Mary involved with the Paranormal?

In a world where there is ever-growing interest - in particular through television- about the paranormal, there is an expanding need for qualified demonologists to assist a marginalized group of people suffering in a way that many do not understand. The more interest modern media generates in the occult and the paranormal, the more people unknowingly become affected by the demonic  realm and the greater the need for persons specially equipped to understand the problem of evil.

We've heard it said before that you don't choose the field of religious demonology, it chooses you. We believe that couldn't be more true, since no matter what we have done in the past to escape the forces of evil, our life experience and particular graces we have recieved from the Holy Spirit have led us to gain special training and insight into the darker spiritual reality.

Likewise, we have seen how over and over the Saints in light while on their earthly pilgrimmage, and those who suffer now in their souls, have invoked Mary as "Terror of Demons." The reality is that the first biblical prophecy, recorded in Genesis 3:15, tells us that Mary, the new Eve, and Ark of the New Covenant will triumph over Satan.

It was prophesied in scripture that in the last days, we would recognize a great amount of evil around us and see great demonic presence in the world. We believe that such times are upon us, and for every demonic apparition, we have observed heaven counteracting with a visitation from the Blessed Mother. This, then, is our aim: to spread devotion to Mary as it leads to a rich, fruitful life in Christ free from the influence of Evil. A Marian apparition is a paranormal event.  Turn to her in your need.

 Mary Mission Paranormal

OUR PURPOSE

Our goal is to offer guidance, help,  prayer and deliverance to people who are suffering in particular from interactions with demonic entities.

HOW WE OPERATE

Some of our work is simply answering emails and phone calls and fielding questions about demonic haunts and activities. Sometimes, we are asked to investigate claims of demonic activity and substantiate them. We help concerned family members and people who think they might be posessed. We help paranormal research teams who have clients that are not content to continue co-habitating with a negative spiritual entity, and help members of paranormal research groups who might have undergone a frightening experience that made no sense to them. We help and support clergy and church staff to better understand things they might not have been prepared for in training and seminary, and alleviate some of their work by fielding phone calls and distress calls from frightened persons during the night. Our most important work is prayer and the dissemination of accurate, biblical information in line with the Catholic Church's teachings about demons and Satanic activity in the world.

WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT YOU?

Just as Mary's mission was to  be open to the Holy Spirit, to pray, accept God's will for her, and through her yieldedness to bring Christ to the World and therefore assist in the salvation and redemption of the world, our mission is to imitate her by being open to what God is doing in our lives and the lives of the suffering around us. In a special way, Mary was given power and authority over Satan's activities- by her openness to her Son, Jesus. Like her, we recognize that it is the purpose and mission of our lives as disciples of Christ to do battle with the enemy and to win in the fight for souls.

WHAT DO WE GET OUT OF IT?

You might be asking yourself what we get out of pouring all this energy into helping people. The answer is everything and nothing. Ours is a thankless ministry-- many people, even well-meaning, good, and faithful "believers" often think we are paranoid or nuts! We get no glory for our  help in the Church because we work behind the scenes. We are often tired and worn out, because the Enemy of our Souls is relentless and we often work at night. But it is worth every minute of frustration if we can help someone in need to experience the power of God in Christ.Pray for us!

What if I'm not Catholic?

Many non-Catholics are put off by the misconception that the Catholic Church teaches that only Catholics are able to cast out demons. The reality is that protestants of all denominations who believe in the Lord Jesus are equipped, through faith, to address a demonic problem. Catholicism teaches that a priest, by virtue of his ordination and through apostolic succession, has the particular authority of the Church, and is called by God to represent Christ in a special way to the people. Because of this, a priest has the ability to stand in the authority of Christ in a way that the rest of us do not...he is specially "sent out."

But most protestants are surprised to discover that the Church encourages believers of ALL walks of life to persist in the battle against evil for which they are equipped through the priesthood of all believers. In other words: Catholicism teaches what the Bible affirms: that there are two types of priesthoods and both should be exercised and used for the good of the Church

Both deliverance and exorcism have for aim to cast a demon out of a person, place, or thing. One relies on the ability to represent a spiritual reality on behalf of Christ to a demon, and the other relies on the mercy of God in answering the pleas of the righteous for help. While Christians of all denominations can successfully pray for and release a person from a demon, only a Catholic priest may perform the Rite of Exorcism. However, both are effective for the deliverance of an affected person.
